21. Election Day

Today 11/5/24 is election day and the first election that my vote has a say in. As a first time voter, I think that it is corrupt and so undemocratic that media sources are endorsing candidates and that new sources are siloed into parties. Shouldn't news be news and facts be facts? It just seems so completely corrupt. How are we in a world where everything has to be divided?! we are HUMANS. I just don’t understand how we cannot meet at a common ground and agree on issues. It makes me want to not even dive into the policies and the facts because the division ignites anxiety.
