04. Dog-eared: August

Vol.1 of Dogeared: The products I’ve been using, practices I’ve been implementing, and any and everything that deserved a dog-ear in the catalogue of my life this past month.

Products:

The perfect fall transition piece.

This is by far my #1 dog-ear. With all of my gut struggles this summer… Kamana has been my SAVING GRACE. It is a coffee alternative made from one ingredient: mesquite pods. It is made just like coffee and dare I say tastes even better. Coming from a coffee addict this says a LOT. It is naturally sweet and cinnamony plus does not upset your stomach or get in the way of hunger/fullness signals.

Practices:

  • SuperHuman App: This app has already changed my life within a month of using it. It’s Mimi Bouchard’s app where she has “activations” for nearly any and every moment throughout your day. I have done a walking activation nearly every day this month and it has helped me unlock the power of future self work.

  • Strutting down the street jamming to Pink Pony Club by Chappell Roan

  • Bone Broth on an empty stomach

If you do one thing, listen to this podcast episode

I felt like Mel was speaking straight to my soul throughout this entire episode. In fact, at one point, I stopped dead in my tracks and had to rewind to make sure I wasn’t making up what she said because it hit home that hard.
